32. Rhipicephalus guilhoni Morel and Vassiliades, 1963 .

An Afrotropical and Palearctic species whose adults are usually found on Artiodactyla: Bovidae, but they have also been collected from Mammalia (several orders), and Aves (several orders). Larvae and nymphs have been recovered from Lagomorpha: Leporidae, and Rodentia: Muridae and Sciuridae . Rhipicephalus guilhoni is a very rare parasite of humans.

Note: Chitimia-Dobler et al. (2017b) suggested that Rhipicephalus guilhoni and Rhipicephalus camicasi are conspecific, with Rhipicephalus guilhoni as the senior synonym.
