An Oriental species whose adults have been found on Artiodactyla: Bovidae and Suidae, and Carnivora: Canidae . Haemaphysalis indoflava is a very rare parasite of humans.

Note: Camicas et al. (1998) state that the larva and nymph of Haemaphysalis indoflava are undescribed, but descriptions and redescriptions published before 1998 are treated here as valid. Prior to the study of Dhanda and Bhat (1968b), Haemaphysalis indoflava was confused with Haemaphysalis flava .
