63. Haemaphysalis howletti Warburton, 1913 .

An Oriental species, all of whose parasitic stages have been found on Rodentia: Muridae; adults have been recovered from Lagomorpha: Leporidae, and Persissodactyla: Equidae;

nymphs have been collected from Cuculiformes: Cuculidae; larvae have been found on Rodentia: Sciuridae . There are no records of Haemaphysalis howletti causing human parasitism.
