94. Haemaphysalis madagascariensis Colas-Belcour and Millot, 1948 .

An Afrotropical species, all of whose parasitic stages, including the undescribed larva and nymph, have been collected from Cuculiformes: Cuculidae; larvae alone have been found on Passeriformes: Vangidae . There are no records of Haemaphysalis madagascariensis causing human parasitism.
