4. Dermacentor atrosignatus Neumann, 1906 .

An Australasian and Oriental species whose adults are usually found on Artiodactyla: Suidae, but they have also been collected from mammals of several orders, with some records from Squamata: Elapidae and Varanidae . There are provisional diagnoses of the undescribed immature stages collected from Artiodactyla: Bovidae and Suidae, Chiroptera: Pteropodidae, Rodentia: Muridae, and Soricomorpha: Soricidae . Dermacentor atrosignatus is a sporadic parasite of humans.
