An Oriental species whose adults have been found on Artiodactyla: Bovidae and Cervidae . Haemaphysalis colasbelcouri is a very rare parasite of humans.

Note: Kolonin (2009) believes that Haemaphysalis colasbelcouri is probably a synonym of Haemaphysalis vietnamensis, and more than one species may exist under this name. Camicas et al. (1998) treat the larva and nymph of Haemaphysalis colasbelcouri as undescribed, ignoring the descriptions listed above.
