111. Amblyomma scalpturatum Neumann, 1906 .
A Neotropical species whose adults are usually found on Perissodactyla: Tapiridae; nymphs have been collected from Artiodactyla: Suidae and Tayassuidae, Carnivora: Canidae and Felidae, and Rodentia: Cuniculidae and Dasyproctidae (Guglielmone & Robbins 2018, Binetruy et al. 2019). Amblyomma scalpturatum is a sporadic parasite of humans.
