27. Amblyomma cordiferum Neumann, 1899 .
An Australasian and Oriental species whose females have been found on Crocodilia: Alligatoridae (captive) and Crocodylidae, Squamata: Colubridae, Elapidae and Pythonidae, and Artiodactyla: Bovidae and Suidae; larvae and nymphs have been collected from Rodentia . Muridae (Guglielmone & Robbins 2018, Kwak et al. 2019). Amblyomma cordiferum is a very rare parasite of humans.
