39. Amblyomma falsomarmoreum Tonelli Rondelli, 1935 .
An Afrotropical species whose adults are usually found on Testudines: Testudinidae, and Squamata: Varanidae, with some infrequent records from Artiodactyla: Bovidae, Camelidae and Suidae . Amblyomma falsomarmoreum is a very rare parasite of humans.
