119. Ixodes kuntzi Hoogstraal and Kohls, 1965a .

An Oriental and Palearctic species, all of whose parasitic stages are usually found on Rodentia: Sciuridae . Nymphs alone have been collected from Passeriformes: Muscicapidae and Sittidae; larvae alone have been recovered from Passeriformes: Timaliidae and Turdidae . There are no records of Ixodes kuntzi causing human parasitism.
