203. Ixodes schillingsi Neumann, 1901 .

An Afrotropical species, all of whose parasitic stages are usually found on Primates: Cercopithecidae; adults alone have been collected from Rodentia: Cricetidae and Sciuridae; nymphs and larvae have been recovered from Primates: Galagidae . Ixodes schillingsi is a very rare parasite of humans.
