Note: Morel (1965a) believes that Ixodes arabukiensis is, most probably, a synonym of Ixodes djaronensis, and Camicas et al. (1998) support the synonymy proposed by Morel (1965a). Kolonin (2009) does not include Ixodes arabukiensis in his list of hard ticks of the world.
