50. Ixodes confusus Roberts, 1960 .

An Australasian species, adults of which have been found on Diprotodontia: Macropodidae, Artiodactyla: Bovidae, and Perissodactyla: Equidae . The undescribed nymph was collected from an unknown bird. Ixodes confusus is a very rare parasite of humans.
