Genus Apsadaropteryx Kirkaldy
Apsadaropteryx Kirkaldy 1907: 103 . Type species: Issus elongatulus Kirkaldy, by monotypy.
Diagnosis. Differs from the closely related Chlamydopteryx by rather elongate fore wings with sinuate radial vein and the venation of hind wings: radius bifurcate, median, cubitus posterior, first and second anal veins simple, cubitus anterior pentafurcate, postcubitus tetrafurcate; between second branch of radius and median, between median and first branch of cubitus anterior, between cubitus posterior and postcubitus, and between postcubitus and first anal vein – single transverse vein; fifth branch of cubitus anterior and cubitus posterior are fused and thickened (R 2 r-m M 1 m-cu CuA 5 CuP 1 cup-pcu Pcu 4 pcu-a A1 1 A2 1) (Figure 20).
