Oncometopia unispina new species

Description. Size (males): 9.8–10.2 mm. Other external characters as in O. orbona .

Coloration (Fig. 12 A–D). Similar to O. clarior, O. obtusa, and O. lepida .

Male terminalia. Similar to O. lepida and O. pelvica, but basal process of aedeagus (Fig. 12 E, F) with small accessory spine (in all studied specimens on right side). Subapical process of aedeagus significantly shorter than basal process and not nearly reaching its apex.

Female terminalia. Unknown.

Distribution. Costa Rica and Panama.

Etymology. The name refers to the small accessory spine on the basal process of the male aedeagus.
