Specimens examined. Pedernales (Peninsula de Barahona), 28-IX-2008, five females on Plumeria obtusa L. ( Apocynaceae).
Remarks. This species has previously been recorded from Brazil, Colombia, El Salvador, Florida (USA), Guadeloupe, Honduras, Jamaica, Les Saintes, Perú and Puerto Rico. The measurements of the five specimens collected are very similar to those of the holotype. Dorsal shield, 268 µm long (260–278) and 154 wide (140–167); ventrianal shield, 75 µm long (73–80) and 44 wide (43–47).
