Disparomitus congoensis Navás, 1933: 309, fig. 89.
The dorsal plates of the first abdominal segment of male are not merged and the first tergite is not saddle-shaped.

Syntype ♀, Disparomitus congoensis Navás, 1933, Sandoa, -9.7/22.866667, alt. 900 m,?. x.1930, F.G. Overlaet leg., (R. DÉT. P 2426 MRAC 0 0 728 P) .
These two specimens were examined by Navás who mentions them in his original description and has labelled them as "type". Both specimens are labelled Disparomitus congensis (misspelling) by Navás. Tjeder labelled the male specimen as lectotype of Disparomitus congoensis Navás but never published this designation.
