Notes.
The genus Amphibambusa was introduced by Liu et al. (2015) which is characterized by immersed, solitary, scattered, globose to subglobose ascomata, ostiole at the centre, surrounded by white margin, unitunicate, cylindrical, short-pedicellate asci with a J +, subapical ring, and fusiform, subhyaline, longitudinally striated, 1 - septate ascospores surrounded by a gelatinous sheath. Currently, the genus comprises two species: A. hongheensis H. B. Jiang & Phookamsak and A. bambusicola D. Q. Dai & K. D. Hyde (Liu et al. 2015, Jiang et al. 2021 a). In this study, we introduce a new species of Amphibambusa from Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China.
