Comments. Four syntypes (2 males, 2 females) were confirmed from Pascoe’s collection based on the locality. Herein we designated one male specimen, which has been labelled with a handwritten identification label marked with ‘ Type’, as the lectotype and the remaining specimens become paralectotypes. One specimen labelled ‘Dor.’ by Wallace is from Dorey (now Manokwari), New Guinea, and although labelled in the past as a paralectotype, it is here excluded from the type series, as this locality is not mentioned in the description.
