Diagnosis. This species (wingspan 15mm) is distinguished by dentate blackish subtermen on whitish fore- and hindwings. The male abdomen and genitalia can be distinguished by the short claw-like left and long, medially bent right cerata on the eighth sternite, the long digitate socii, and the short, distally tapered fibula and thumb-like valvula.

Biology. The species feeds on Bryophyte species in Japan (Kaneko 2011).
