Lathrobium taichii WATANABE 2008

Material examined: Japan: Honshu: 1, Hyogo Pref., Kobe (BMNH) ; 1, 1, Hyogo Pref., Kobe, Mayasan, 24.IV.1930 (BMNH, cAss) .

Comment: The original description is based on a male holotype and 15 paratypes from "Mt. Maya-san, HyƓgo Pref. " (WATANABE 2008). Based on the synapomorphically derived morphology of the aedeagus and the shape and chaetotaxy of the male sternites VII and VIII, L. taichii is closely related to L. sanukiense, L. shingon, and allied species.
