Makrokylindrus menziesi Bacescu, 1962: 215 –217, Figs 5–6 (Type locality: Station 137, L.G.O., near to Galapagos Islands, 09°20.5’N, 89°34’W; depth 3,469–3,493 m. Holotype male, MGAB).—Petrescu et al. 2009: 202, 237–244 (CD-Rom Species List 18.2.).

Geographic distribution. Central America: South of El Salvador to the west of Costa Rica; Galapagos Islands. Habitat. Depth 3,469–3,493 m.

Observation. This species was not found in our samples.
