Remarks. The study of the new material listed above and a comparison with the type material of P. formosana and P. amooraphila revealed that based on the coloration and proportions of the body and antennomeres, on the microsculpture and the punctation, on the external and internal structure of the aedeagus, and on the shape of the female accessory sclerite, all these specimens are conspecific. There is insignificant variability in the shape of the apical part of the median lobe and of the parameres. Consequently, P. amooraphila, which was recently described from Hainan (Shavrin 2017) is synonymized with P. formosana, a species previously known from Taiwan (Shavrin & Smetana 2016). The aedeagus of the male from Vietnam is illustrated in Fig. 5. The distribution is mapped in Fig. 27. The species is here recorded from mainland China and Vietnam for the first time.
