Remarks.

We have examined no specimens of this species from outside of the Levant (Israel and West Bank, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria; Wood et al. 2020). Neither Grace (2010) or Augul (2018) report precise specimen records and, pending further investigations, we exclude A. sigiella from the list of Iraqi Andrena as if truly present it would be a considerable range extension from the Levant.
