Amphileptus rotundus — Tirjaková 1993: 133.
Main morphological characters (according to Kahl 1931). Length 160–200 µm in vivo. Body drop-like, posteriorly broadly rounded. Two macronuclear nodules with a single micronucleus in between. Contractile vacuole ventral and subterminal, with a long anterior collecting canal. Extrusomes rod-like, scattered in cytoplasm and possibly also attached to oral bulge. Somatic ciliary pattern Amphileptus -like; about 15–16 right kineties.
Distribution. This species was reported from the periphyton and benthos of the Turiec River (Tirjaková 1993).
