Notes

This species is found in Australia, Madagascar, New Caledonia and the Philippines. Nothing is known about its biology. This is the first record of this species from the Caribbean area and from the Neotropical region. This species has a Gondwanan distribution. Measurements of setae and body length agree well with those included in the original description of the species.
