Notes

This species is not endemic to the Neotropical Region or the Caribbean area as it has been found in Australia, Brazil, Cuba, Fiji, Guadeloupe, Indonesia, Japan, Kenya, Madagascar, Malaysia, Marie­Galante, Martinique, Nigeria, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Reunion Island, Singapore, South Africa, Vanuatu, and Western Samoa. The measurements of the specimens collected agree well with those of Denmark & Muma (1989).
