Record numbers (Sea/Ocean classification): Pacific Ocean: 7; total: 7.
Record numbers (FAO classification): FAO87: 7; total: 7.
Remarks: This species from the monotypic abyssal genus was found along a transect off the coast of Peru in a region covered by manganese nodules. Found 0–6 cm deep in sediment, it has not been reported again since the original study.
