Rhacocleis anatolica Werner, 1933
Material examined. Aydın Prov., İncirliova Distr., Karlıçay River near Karagözler Vill., 37°57.854´N, 27°48.576´E, 560 m, 14.9.2011, 4 males, 9 females ; İzmir Prov., Menderes Distr., Ataköy, Karacadağ, 38°04.385´N, 27°08.438´E, 345 m, 16.9.2011, 1 male (leg. M. Ünal & A. Gorochov) (AİBÜEM) .
Remarks. Although the species name of this taxon is “anatolica ” this species was recorded from the mainland Anatolia in 1951 for the first time by Ramme (1951:368). Werner (1933: 202–204) considered and listed Kos (type locality) and Ikaria islands within the Asian islands as “the cost of Asia Minor ” [Anatolia]. Ramme (1951) recorded it from Bornova and Seydiköy [now Gaziemir] in İzmir Province. The occurrence of this species in the mainland Anatolia was confirmed using a historical female by Ünal (2012: 37), after Willemse’s (1982: 210) suspicion. Here are some new records from different locations of Western Anatolia.
