Remarks. No associable type specimen, neither with a label containing the name of this species as found in NMPC. As suggested by Illies (1966), surely not a Perlidae but a Gripopterygidae or a Notonemouridae, according to body size given in the original description (Blanchard 1851). Unfortunately, the family cannot be surely associated on the basis of the brief description. Consequently, this name should be treated as a nomen dubium, not assignable even to suborder.
