Material examined. CHILE, Valdivia: 1♀ (NMPC, transferred to alcohol vial) (Labels, kept in box IV.17: Museum Paris / Chili / Gay 15-43 (printed); 15 / 43 (handwritten round label); Valdivia (handwritten, maybe of Gay)).

Remarks. This species resembles N. illiesi Zwick, 1972 (Fig. 24). However, as already noted above for N. stictica, species level identifications of isolated Neonemura females are not possible at this time.
