Philobrya alata Urcola & Zelaya, 2021: 28, 29, fig. 4.
Remarks: Philobrya alata was recently described by Urcola & Zelaya (2021, p. 28, 29). It is an easily recognizable species due to its peculiar morphology: the ventral and posterior margin form an evenly convex curve and the posterior slope is wide and deep, giving the shell an alated appearance and high profile. In addition, P. alata shows an extremely short resilifer. Currently, the species is only known from the Atlantic coast of Patagonia at Tierra del Fuego, Isla de los Estados and Burdwood Bank, in a bathymetric range of 117‒286 m depth (Urcola & Zelaya 2021).
