Current name: Ophioglossum vulgatum L. ( Ophioglossaceae).

Note: Pichi Sermolli (in Webbia 26: 492. 1972) provided an extensive discussion of the typification of Ophioglossum .

Jonsell & Jarvis (in Jarvis & al., Regnum Veg. 127: 71. 1993; in Nordic J. Bot. 14: 148. 1994) designated a Clifford sheet as lectotype, unaware of Bobrov’s earlier type choice.
