Material examined: Lorestan, Khoram-Abad, Bisheh, 2096m, 6.vi.2007, N 33˚ 22΄ 53.2˝ & E 48˚ 43΄ 59.6˝, (A. Hajesmalian), 2Ψ. Khorasan-Razavi, Ghuchan, vineyard, 4.viii.2009, 1193m, (A. Hasani), 8Ψ & 2ɗ.

These are new records of O. discolor for Iran and extend its known range within the Palaearctic region, although it has been reported from western parts of the Middle East (Noyes 2011). It is associated with herbaceous plants but hosts are unknown (Zerova and Seryogina 2006).
