3. Ormyrus bucharicus Zerova, 1985

Material examined: Unlabelled in HMIM, 2Ψ. Qazvin, Alamut, summer.2009, pan trap, (B. Gharali), 1Ψ.

During a study of material in HMIM, one of us (HL) found two specimens of Ormyrus that agree with the description of O. bucharicus . Females of this species are distinguished by an upturned epipygium, strongly extended ovipositor, violet body colour, and bare speculum.

Ormyrus bucharicus was hitherto known only from Uzbekistan as a parasitoid of Urophora repeteki (Munro) (Tephritidae) on Cousinia hamadae (Asteraceae) (Zerova 1985).
