Distribution. As far as is known, this species has been collected only in Iran; it might therefore be endemic. Until now it was known only from the female holotype (Bouček 1956). The present sampling of a rather long series allowed us to associate the sexes. The male has a ventral tooth on the scape as in L. dargelasii (Latreille), L. rubripes (Kieffer) and a number of species in the Old World tropics.
Hosts. Unknown.
