Antrocephalus Kirby, 1883

The genus Antrocephalus comprises around 120 described species mostly distributed in the Old World tropics. The known hosts are pupae of Microlepidoptera belonging to the families Tortricidae, Pyralidae and Crambidae (Noyes 2017) . Only one species, A. hypsopygiae Masi, 1928, has previously been recorded from Iran (Lotfalizadeh et al. 2012; Tavakoli Roodi et al. 2016).
