Typhloiulus edentulus Attems, 1951

Typhloiulus (Mesoporoiulus) edentulus Attems, 1951 Typhloiulus (Attemsotyphlus) edentulus: Strasser 1962 Typhloiulus edentulus: Ceuca 1992

Distribution. Known only from the type locality: Bosnia and Herzegovina: cave Vjetrenica in Popovo Polje.

Remarks. Since its original description T. edentulus has been revised only by Strasser (1962) who illustrated the gonopods for the first time and erected the subgenus Attemsotyphlus Strasser, 1962, to accommodate this rather aberrant species. This is one of the few Typhloiulus species in which the mouthparts are modified for a presumed semiaquatic lifestyle, the others being T. ausugi and T. serbani (Enghoff 1985) .
