Diagnosis. A genus of the family Julidae characterized by complete lack of ocelli and protruding lobes of male mandibular stipites, presence of vertigial and metazonal setae, ozopores placed behind the suture; and gonopods composed of a promere with a flagellum and of an external as well as an internal median lobe, a freely articulated mesomere, and a rather simple opisthomere with a well-developed velum.
