Genus Euepedanus Roewer, 1915

Comments. Currently, ten Euepedanus species—with E. trispinosus Roewer, 1915, as type species—are registered from Southeastern Asia and China. Seven species— E. orientalis (Hirst, 1912), E. chaiensis Suzuki, 1969, E. dividuus Suzuki, 1969, E. similis Suzuki, 1985, E. pentaspinulatus Suzuki, 1985, E. spinosus Suzuki, 1985 and Е. dash- damirovi Zhang & Martens, 2020 —are known from Thailand, one species— E. trispinosus Roewer, 1915 —from Singapore and Malaysia, one species— E. vietnamicus sp. nov. —from Vietnam and one species— E. flavimaculatus Zhu & Lian, 2006 —from China. Euepedanus vietnamicus sp. nov. is the first representative of the genus Euepedanus in Vietnam.
