Geographic distribution.

Cosmopolitan species. In the Russian tundra: Murmansk Region (Veselov 1977, Finogenova 1975, Timm and Popchenko 1978), the upper reaches of the Adzva River, (Finogenova 1966), Lake Ambarty and some other lakes in the Korotaikha River basin (Popchenko 1978).

Location.

Lake Bolshoy Kharbey (67°31'38"N, 62°53'2.8"E; 67°32'22.1"N, 62°52'10.7"E).

Ecology.

The species was found mainly on sand between stones at a depth of 1.0 m or less.
