Diagnosis. The female specimens fit the original description provided for the male, except that the antennae are shorter (AR: 0.95, male: 1.16), but these still reach the elytral apex (Figure 1). The elytra are widest at 2/3 of the total length towards the apex, a characteristic also present in representatives of the tribe Obriini ( Spathuliger or Hologaster species) (Parnaudeau, 2013).
Measurements. Body length: 5.8-6.3, Antenna length: 6 [both antennae of the second specimen are lacking], AR: 0.95. Male: AR: 1.16 (after the illustration in Adlbauer, 2001).
