Type material. Holotype female (MRAC) from Psalidoprocne sp. ( Hirundinidae), DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF THE CONGO: Kinshasa, 4°19'39''S 15°18'48''E, 14 February 1965, coll. A. Fain. Holotype deposition. Female holotype in MRAC (examined).
Remarks. This species was briefly described from a single female from Psalidoprocne sp. ( Hirundinidae) in DR of the Congo (Fain 1972). Later on, it was redescribed by Fain et al. (1999). No other records since the original descriptions.
