Leucophenga flaviclypeata sp. nov.

Diagnosis. This species resembles L. aculeata sp. nov. in having the thorax mostly dark colored (Figs. 4 C, 4D, 5A, 5B), the wing fuscous along R1 only (Fig. 2 G, K), and in the color patterns of abdominal tergites in male (Figs. 8 F, 9A), but can be distinguished from the latter by the paramere lacking any remarkable wrinkle (Fig. 19 C), and the aedeagus slender, slightly broadened distally (Fig. 19 D).
Description. Ocellar triangle dark brown, with ca. 2 setae above ocellar setae. Frons yellow. Pedicel and first flagellomere yellow. Clypeus yellow. Palpus yellow. Mesonotum entirely brown (Fig. 5 A). Postpronotal lobe yellow (Fig. 5 B). Acrostichal setulae in ca. 8–10 irregular rows (Fig. 5 A). Scutellum entirely dark brown (Fig. 5 B). Pleura, katepisternum and meron mostly brown above (Fig. 5 B). Wing (Fig. 2 K): Costal vein between R2+3 and R4+5 distally with ca. 4–5 peg-like spinules on ventral surface. Abdominal tergites dark brown (Fig. 9 A), with a pair of yellow patches submedially between 2nd to 3rd tergites. Male terminalia: Epandrium with ca. 5 setae near posterior margin per side (Fig. 19 A). Surstylus rounded apically (Fig. 19 A). Hypandrium with 2 sensilla (Fig. 19 B). Paramere with ca. 5 sensilla distally (Fig. 19 C).

Distribution. China (Yunnan).
Etymology. A combination of the Latin words “ flavus ” (= yellow) + “ clypeus ” (= clypeus), referring to the clypeus yellow.
