Type:— UZBEKISTAN. Ferghana Depression: Kurama Mt Range, Pap-Chust foothills, vicinities of Muruldi and Kandisai villages, Artemisia steppe, 30 March 2013, K. Tojibaev 161 (TASH000512!) .

Description:—Flowers are reddish-orange or light red, with black or dark brown blotch. Filaments bicoloured: pale brownish in the basal part and red or reddish in the upper part (Fig. 3). The colour of the filaments is mostly the same as the basal blotch. The flowers of this variety are similar to flowers of T. korolkowii, but smaller and reddish-orange or light red (the flowers of T. korolkowii are darker, bright red or crimson).
