Thubdora barbata; Park & De Prins 2019: 453.
Diagnosis. Wingspan, 17.5–20 mm. The species is similar to T. ivoryensis Park & Karisch, sp. nov. in the forewing pattern, but the forewing has a larger, yellowish-white triangular costal patch, and the female genitalia differ from the latter by the ductus bursae extremely broadened in distal 2/3, with signum absent.
Male genitalia (Figs. 7B, B 1): Uncus broadly dilated distally. Valva with elongated, nearly parallel-sided cucullus. Aedeagus narrowed apically; cornuti consisting of series of numerous conical spines. Subgenital segment with a pair of long hair-like pencils
Female genitalia (Fig. 7C): Abdominal sternite VIII narrowed distally, with slight emargination at middle. Ostium bursae convex on caudal margin. Antrum shortened, narrowly broadened, weakly sclerotized, with narrowly extended latero-caudal processes. Ductus bursae extremely broadened in distal half, upper part weakly sclerotized with two long, sclerotized plates and densely wrinkled on lower half, then narrowed, membranous in anterior 1/4. Corpus bursae ovate; signum absent.
