Neocurtilla claraziana (Saussure, 1874)
Comments. According to Hollier et al. (2013), the syntypes of this species held in the Muséum d’Histoire Naturelle de Genève (MHNG), come from Bahia (Brazil) and not from Bahia Blanca (Argentina). When comparing photographs of the syntypes deposited in Geneva, these fit the brachypterous habit of the specimens reviewed by Canhedo-Lascombe & Corseuil (1996). This confusion may have arised when the authors used the keys for Neocurtilla from L. Bruner (1916), because the characters given by Bruner do not fit the anatomical characters of the type specimens of N. claraziana and G. chilensis reinst. stat. Perhaps Bruner checked specimens with locations close to the previously mentioned species and determined them as N. claraziana and G. chilensis, but this specimens could well be different, maybe undescribed species.
