Diagnosis. Poecilaemula signata differs from other members of Poecilaemula sensu stricto by the combination of the following characteristics: dorsal scutum with yellow markings (orange in P. iching); leg IV unarmed; areas of mesotergum darker than the rest of the scutum (Figure 11, although this may be imperceptible in preserved animals: Figure 12); tubercles of areas I and III visible and same colouration as scutum (coloured in P. iching and P. eutypa).
