Remarks. All the specimens listed above have the ventral face of coxae I covered with cuspule-like spines, as described for Architis tenuis and Architis cymatilis Simon, 1898 (Santos 2007a; fig. 4E). These spines were not observed in the holotype of A. maturaca (Santos 2007a), the only male specimen known so far, probably because they were accidentally removed during collection or subsequent handling. The presence of cuspule-like spines on venter of coxae I, as well as the prolaterally notched ventral tibial apophysis (Santos 2007a; fig. 5B) suggest A. maturaca to be close to the clade A. tenuis + A. cymatilis (see Santos 2007b).
