Remarks. Manota planilobata has been recorded from Chiang Mai and Phetchabun, Thailand (Hippa 2008a, 2009). The Japanese specimens are not identical with those from Thailand, e.g. the parastylar lobe is more richly setose and the stronger setae at the mesial margin of the gonostylus are less prominent.
